Bobby Marko · Fractional Creative Director + Producer
Your content needs a creative partner, not just a vendor
I'm Bobby Marko. For 30 years I've led the room - as a fractional creative director, strategist, and producer/director. I help brands and teams figure out what they're actually trying to say, then I make sure it gets made. Strategy first. Cameras second.
Your best creative decision happens before anyone turns on a camera.
- How I Help
Two ways to work with me. Most projects use both.
I'm not a one-size-fits-all shop. Some clients need a partner to think with before anything gets shot. Some need a crew that shows up and delivers. I do both - and the same person is in the room the whole way through.
01 Beofre the camera
I lead the work.
Fractional creative director, strategist, team-builder. I step in early - before the brief is written - to define the why, shape the what, and build the plan or the team that gets you there. For brands setting up an in-house studio, agencies who need senior creative in the room, and leaders who want a partner, not a pitch deck. This is also where AI earns its keep: I use it to get from idea to concept faster, never to replace the people who make it good.
02 When cameras roll
I make the work.
When it's time to shoot, I produce and direct — the way I have for 20+ years, for Marriott, ESPN, Samsung, Sony, National Geographic, and more. Commercials, branded content, documentary, episodic. Full crew, full accountability, one person you can call when something changes on the day. Because something always changes on the day.
- trusted with the work
Marriott · Samsung · HCA Healthcare · Ecolab · ESPN · NBC/Golf · National Geographic · Sony
Thirty years in. Two nonprofits co-founded, one run as executive director. Budgets from $20K to $2M+. The names above didn't hire a reel - they hired someone who'd already solved the problem once.
- SELECTED WORK
Marriott/Gaylord
Holiday content, at scale, across multiple properties - every year. They didn't need a vendor. They needed someone embedded in with the brand who showed up ready to lead.
ESPN
ESPN Game Day special – a cinematic, original story featuring some of the best college football coaches – they needed someone who could operate at the pace of a national sports media company while delivering the storytelling quality of a film production.
Ecolab
Nalco/Ecolab had a story worth telling – a global sustainability mission that touched ecosystems and communities across the world. The challenge was telling it in a way that felt cinematic and authentic, not corporate.
- Who you'd work with
Musician first. Filmmaker for the last twenty plus years. Partner the whole time.
I started in music - signed artist, session bassist, hired gun. I learned early that creativity without discipline is just noise, and that the business of art matters as much as the art.
Then I fell for filmmaking and spent two decades producing and directing for brands you know, building teams and in-house studios from scratch along the way. Every chapter was training for this one.
What I offer now is the whole picture - strategy, creative, and budget in the same sentence, from one partner. I'm based in Nashville. The work takes me everywhere.
